formula to solve polynomials

Hi! Our class just started tackling a new chapter in algebra about formula to solve polynomials and I did good for most homeworks we had but the latest one my teacher gave really complicated so I'd appreciate if someone would teach me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my math teacher gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried doing it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t finish it easily unlike the other homeworks . I had an easy time doing my past homeworks but this particular homework with specific topic of hyperbolas just gives me difficulty just discovering how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if someone help me in showing the steps and how to answer it in a organized and clear way.

That's true, a good software can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebrator is the greatest. It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Basic Math and Remedial Algebra too, so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never had a software until now I can assure you it's not complicated, you don't need to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.
