I think God would have been in a really bad mood that he came up with something called algebra to trouble us! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out a solution to this algebra problem which relates to what is the value of y 5x-4 when x -2 and I still can’t crack it . I’m particularly having problems with system of equations, simplifying expressions and fractional exponents. Can anyone show me the way on how to go about solving such problems? I’ve tried all ways that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent guidance now. Anybody?

It always feels good when I hear that beginners are willing to put that extra effort into their studies. what is the value of y 5x-4 when x -2 is not a very complex subject and you can easily do some initial preparation yourself. As a useful tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This tool is quite beneficial when doing math yourself.

Some professors really don’t know how to teach that well. Luckily, there are programs like Algebrator that makes a great substitute teacher for algebra subjects. It might even be better than a real professor because it’s more accurate and faster !

Is it really that helpful? I’m just concerned because the software might not really help because it only answers the problem per ?e. I like to learn how a problem is answered and not only find out the answer. Nevertheless, could you give me a link for this software?
