steps of quadratic formula

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind steps of quadratic formula. I find solving problems really difficult. I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject?

I have tried out many software. I would without any doubt say that Algebrator has assisted me to come to grips with my difficulties on multiplying matrices, sum of cubes and angle-angle similarity. All I did was to simply key in the problem. The response showed up almost right away showing all the steps to the answer . It was quite easy to follow. I have relied on this for my algebra classes to figure out Remedial Algebra and Algebra 2. I would highly advice you to try out Algebrator.
