I am going to college now. As math has always been my problem area , I purchased the course material in advance. I am plan studying a couple of topics before the classes start. Any kind of pointers would be highly appreciated that could aid me to start studying system of equations three variables myself.

What exactly don't you understand about system of equations three variables? I recall having difficulty with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I think I could try to give you some ideas on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should purchase Algebrator, that's what I did in my College Algebra, and I have to say it's amazing ! It's less costly than a tutor and you can use it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever tried a similar program. I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra tutor . You won't regret it!
