finding scale factor

Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor , because I've been having a lot of stress due to algebra homework this year. each time when I come home from school I waste hours and hours with my algebra homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not completely sure if a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's not cheap , and who knows, maybe it's not even so helpful. Does anyone know anything about finding scale factor that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about solving a triangle,unlike denominators or conversion of units? Any suggestions will be much appreciated .

Hi! I guess I can give you ideas on how to solve your problem. But for that I need more guidelines. Can you elaborate about what exactly is the finding scale factor homework that you have to submit. I am quite good at working out these kind of things. Plus I have this great software Algebrator that I got from a friend which is soooo good at solving algebra assignment. Give me the details and perhaps we can work something out...

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with greatest common factor, function definition and algebra formulas. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
